How to Volunteer 

LeadersinSTEM.org is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). We strive to inspire and empower young people from underrepresented communities to pursue STEM careers, and we need your help!

We are looking for passionate and committed volunteers to support our mission in all areas of our business. Whether you're an experienced professional or a student just starting out, we have opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference.

As a volunteer for LeadersinSTEM.org, you'll have the chance to:

• Make a positive impact on the lives of young people from underrepresented communities

• Gain valuable experience and skills in leadership, education, and community outreach

• Connect with like-minded individuals and expand your professional network

• Have fun and make new friends while doing something meaningful

Our volunteers play a critical role in helping us achieve our goals. Here are just a few ways you can get involved:

• Mentor a student: Our mentoring program pairs volunteers with students from underrepresented communities who are interested in pursuing STEM careers. As a mentor, you'll provide guidance, support, and encouragement to help your mentee succeed.

• Teach a workshop: We offer a variety of workshops and educational programs designed to inspire young people and introduce them to STEM topics. If you have expertise in a particular field, we would love to have you share your knowledge with our participants.

• Organize an event: We host a number of events throughout the year, from career fairs to hackathons to fundraising galas. As a volunteer event organizer, you'll work with our staff to plan and execute successful events that raise awareness and support for our mission.

• Provide administrative support: From data entry to social media management, we rely on volunteers to help us with day-to-day tasks that keep our organization running smoothly. If you have skills in administration, marketing, or communications, we would love to have you on board.
