STEM MENTORSHIP

STEM leaders believe mentorship is the most effective way to close the gap in STEM education and workforce diversity. Our mentors are the most senior STEM leaders committed to giving back to their communities. They are required to fulfill at least 20 hours a month to develop and support their communities by holding public events, speaking, and presenting their backgrounds and how they entered the STEM field, the challenges and rewards of working in the STEM field, and how their personal experience can help the community, students, educators, and parents.

Our mentors also provide guidance and support to help the next generation of STEM leaders overcome challenges in the field.

We have designed our mentoring program to be a collaborative effort, with mentors and mentees working together to identify and overcome obstacles in the STEM field. Our mentors offer one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and hands-on experiences to provide valuable guidance and support to help students develop the skills they need to succeed in STEM.

Mentorship is the key to building a stronger, more diverse STEM community for the future. Therefore, we have expanded our mentoring support beyond students to include teachers, school districts, and their communities to help drive understanding and support systems to integrate our program. Additionally, we are developing cloud membership software to help integrate all facets of the membership, mentoring with content.
