They will also provide guidance on fundraising strategies and financial management.
Non-Profit Board Member: This individual will have experience running or serving on the board of a nonprofit organization. They will help oversee the organization's governance and ensure that it complies with relevant laws and regulations. They will also provide guidance on best practices for nonprofit management, including fundraising, marketing, and board development.
Fundraising and Marketing Board Member: This individual will have experience in fundraising and marketing, ideally in the STEM field. They will work closely with the executive director and development team to create and implement fundraising and marketing strategies to support the organization's mission and goals. They will also help identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and sponsors.
Partnership Board Member: This individual will have experience in developing and managing partnerships, ideally in the STEM field. They will work closely with the executive director and program team to identify and cultivate partnerships with other organizations that can support the organization's mission and goals. They will also help oversee the organization's partnership strategy and ensure that it aligns with its strategic priorities.
STEM Expert Board Member: This individual will have extensive experience in the STEM field, ideally in a leadership position. They will provide guidance and advice to the organization's leadership team on matters related to STEM education, workforce development, and other areas related to the organization's mission. They will also help identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners and sponsors in the STEM field.
